Had the steak and mushroom soup. It was incredible. Also had roast beef sandwiches. Nice bread and in house roasted beef. Will definitely be back.

I live in Victoria, but everytime I visit Courtenay The Soup Pot is on my list of places to stop. Great little mom and pop shop, and offers a grab and go cup of soup/scone or sandwiches. Soups are listed on their Facebook the day before so you can plan ahead. Thank you for another great soup today! See you next time

Unpretentious, delicious, and with every cent. They have 4ish soups every day, often a vegan and vegetarian option, some wraps and simple sandwiches, scones, butter tarts, and a cooler full of drinks. I prefer a paired down menu that's done really well, and that's exactly what you're getting. I think my favorite thing is that it's served in a large to-go paper coffee cup. Simple. Efficient. Didn't expect to sit inside and dine. There are a few outside tables, but it's primarily a grab it and go kind of place. Which is great, because I don't want to eat with you anyway. $9-10 for a cup of delicious soup and a slice of bread. Upgrade to a cheese scone for a toony. Grab a sandwich for 10, a wrap for 11, or a half and half for various prices. Don't want processed fast food and don't mind eating in your car? Stop and be rewarded.
